Pick up your plastic worms!

Was cleaning some bass and found this...
I was fishing a spinner-bait.
A little suprised this fish even ate with all that in its belly!

Those were mine. Drop them and the filets off at my house.

Pick up your worms? Clearly the sinko was a break off. Looks like it ate the tail off a speed word and robbed that lizard off a hook. Its quiet a stretch to say this bass ate a bunch of discarded soft plastics.

Probably 10 years ago or better, I missed a bass in the Suwannee. Pulled my worm. I kept drifting and probably 200-250 yards downstream, caught a bass. Took it home and cleaned it and it had the worm that I had lost inside it. I’m still amazed that fish covered that much distance that quickly.

My point is they will eat them and it can’t be good for the fish.
I feel guilty thinking about the number of broken or ripped plastics I’ve pitched in the water over the years.
