Two questions. One has anyone had a bimini Top fabric replaced? Two any recommendation on someone to replace the Top? The frame is in good condition.

I tried to do this one time a few years ago. It was cheaper to just buy a new one from Amazon.

Replacement isn't too difficult if the frame is in good condition.

Shields Marina in St. Marks or Covertime Upholstery in Tallahassee are two good shops that have plenty of experience and choices of durable fabrics.

I also believe you will find it much cheaper to replace the whole thing. A friend was quoted $750 to replace the canvas on his t top by one of the local places.

In a related question - My top is okay, but I need a new storage bag / cover. This is the long canvas cover with the zipper all the way down on side that you wrap around the top when it is folded down. My cover has torn from too many interstate miles and I know the top is going to start tearing next.

If anybody has one they don't need, please let me know.

Thanks - Steve Stinson

Steve, I am emailing someone from Leader Accessories for my top. I have asked them if you can buy just a cover for a top.

Mine is still in good enough shape that I can take some length / width measurements if they need them.

Steve, if Homer's source doesn't pan out, that's something Jan could easily do at Covertime Upholstery. He's located in that little strip mall at Crescent Drive, across from the federal prison on Capital Circle SE. He and his brother are very skilled, charge fair prices and they love to fish. I've used them for a number of different jobs.

Color is black. I will have to get the dimensions this evening when I get back home.
