Fished this afternoon from about 1 to 6. When we arrived, we had the bay to ourselves. Water temps ~74f

Caught a few short trout and the aforementioned smooth pufferfish. Fished the sandbar west of Shell Point with no luck, but saw another boat get dragged around for awhile by something big. Either a shark or a bull red. It kept them busy for sometime and we finally left to tour the Shell Point canals, where surprisingly we saw a sea turtle.

Headed back to the west flats as the tide changed and got 3 nice trout and a few big ladyfish. One of the trout was fat 20", fortunately caught by Mrs. Srbenda for a mothers day treat. Got a few small cats as well, and another puffer.

We had a lonesome pelican hanging around, and despite his best efforts was unable to catch either ladyfish or catfish tossed his way.

Beautiful day for Mrs. Srbenda on the water!
