Wife’s morning hunt 11/25/20
I walked my wife down to the stand at 6:00, wished her luck and went back to the house to get ready for work. About a quarter to 7:00 I hear her shoot then my phone rings. She said she shot and that it looked hit. Bit that it ran off. I told her we need to wait 30 minutes then I’ll come down and we’ll look for it. I called work and said be a little late. Not even 15 minutes later she texted saying stay at the house. I’m like ok wasn’t time yet anyway. Next thing I know I hear her shoot again. I figured maybe the deer came back out. I texted her “you shoot”? She said yes it down. I asked what is it. She said another buck. Im like what, how big? She said 4 on a side. I’m like ok I’m on the way just keep and Eye on it. So I get there with the truck and ask where is it. She points and all I see is antlers sticking up. I like looks like a nice 8. As I get closer reality sets in....its a monster 10!!
No ground shrinkage at all. What a beast.
We struggled to get him in the cart so we could load him in the truck. Man was he stinky.
After a short 35yard track we found her first one.
My beautiful wife had a great morning hunt. And she made some great shots. So proud of her. After both of them were in the truck I went to work and she went to Dean’s deer processing.
She has been hunting a lot a not seeing much. But she stuck with it. What a way to buck out in one day.

Congratulations! Two in one hunt is not very common and even more rare to take a stud like that!
