Water conditions and fish biting

Post by Jighead »

Need some info. Could anyone please tell me how fishing conditions are from the Fort at St. Marks to the lighthouse. Is the water messed up? Is anyone catching fish since those rains? Thanks very much!

Water is dark, but the fish are there. Caught a limit of nice trout, including several over slot which had to go back, right on the edge of where the bottom starts to drop off into the main river channel near the down-river oyster bars. This was on live shrimp, could not get a bite on plastic. Also found reds around the bars.
