Went out of Lanark and skirted around the island. Headed on out in 3+ seas to 70'. Found some good bottom and threw out the bouy. Let the anchor out and missed the spot. Tried to pull it up and it was stuck. Ended up losing it first thing. That relegated us to drfting, that was very unproductive and frustrating considering sea conditions. Finally, we cruised to O-tower and saw huge fish milling around..Cuda's maybe?? There was bait all over. Didn't get a bite at all. Headed in after 3 1/2 hours. One of the guys got really sick. Very disappointing day. Was it the moon? tide? Have no idea.
