Re: Scallopping July 4th St Marks

Dang sure was a mess of boats. I was out early on in very shallow scallop water and had to tip-toe my way out of there when I was done. There was a ton of traffic and I felt like we idled to clear it all for close to 30 minutes. :o

Re: Scallop Report - St. Marks 07-01-2008

I, too, noticed that they were on the small side; however, there were some mixed in that were HUGE. Maybe left over from last year?

Opening Day Scallop Report - St. Marks

After my scallop scouting trip nearly ended in disaster yesterday, we headed out from st. marks today in search of scallops. We didn't have to search hard. Scallops seemed to be thick everywhere we dropped. We started swimming at 0730 and we were limited out at 0930. Scallops were shucked at the Bir...

Re: A sad, sad day

You know, I would lay down and die if I had to represent a team playing against Tim Tebow next season. :smt010

Dawgs, you can give up now, or we can play it out in Jacksonville, your call.

Go Gators! :-D

Re: Scallop Scouting

We went scallop scouting today. We didn't see anything except for the one hundred year's storm. We didn't even see the bow of the boat for about 15 minutes. Heart rate was approx 180 beats/min. We read the weather forecast, and promptly ignored it. Before heading out in a yak tomorrow, read the weat...

Just don't hammer down on the throttle with the powerpole buried in the sand. Powerpoles aren't cheap :o
