We only get down there it seems once a year, but we are coming Sunday to Shell Point for a week. You guys keep up the good work, I love this forum! I'll post a report when we get back.

I replaced the drums on my bass boat last year (20' Stratos) with disc brakes. There is a modification that has to be done on the master cylinder in the tongue or replace it. I love the disc, they work much better. However, I had to replace the elec. lockout solonoid since then. I know this does not ...

I read this board 2-3 time a week and really enjoy you guys. I only get down there 2-3 times a year so I don't have much to post. But keep up the banter it keeps me sane. :smt006

Yea, thanks Rocket. The plan is to strip the inside down to the hull and start over. I don't know what to be looking for in regards to floor material. Marine ply or some NASA type material. Any thoughts?

This is a glass bost made by Welch Custom Fiberglass in Perry Fl. apparently sometime in the 70's. In the last few hours I have found the transom rotted as well as some soft spots in the floor. The hull appears to be very sound and looks as though it would make a good bay boat. I'm considering doing ...
