reds, and trout....ended up with a just outa slot red, a lady fish and Suber caught a blue while i was with him and another red later in the day...Started out with top water plugs and then i switched to DOA and Gulp jerk baits...rigged texas style....suber was also using plastics...

it was a joke capt. ron...relax...officer Perry was really nice...i could have stuck it to me evn worse that he did....no PFD....i got off easy....now i have taped a copy of license under the bow hatch in case i forget it again....and a pfd now lives on board....

He was just checking and i (genius i am ) did not have my license on me....

went out of lanark with Jsuber ....he snapped some beautiful shots of the sunrise and an even better one of me getting hassled by the man....

i am driving in late on friday and want to fish early saturday.....

any one gonna be out around lanark the weekend of august 12th? i am going to be in town for a family function and was gonna bring the yak....

I finally got over to the gulf this past weekend.....put in across the street from my families place in lanark....between the Ho-Hum and the boat ramp......It was my first venture in the bay with my yak......ended the day with 8 reds....all slot and over....3 trout...and the biggest shark i have ...

Mark, another way to help solve the issue is to drag the line every few trips out. remove all lures weight etc. and let the line free spool out behind the boat and it will untwist its self.........obviously while traveling slow .....

you can launch at timber island and ther is a public ramp just past wicked willy's
