Lanark 5/18 - Thanks to PapaSmurf

I just wanted to say a quick thanks for a great trip with Captain Terry (PapaSmurf) out of Lanark this past weekend. He had donated this trip for one of the raffle prizes at the FCKA Classic in March. I had my Step-dad come along as well since he doesn't get out that much and we had a great time. It...

Re: What a shame !!

It kills me that the captain is going to plead not guilty. I hope they take his ugly boat.

Tool Box off a 2004 Z71

Posting this for a friend......

Diamond Plated, Low Profile, bought at Minco, price for a new one is $275, selling for $150(obo), mint condition. Had to take it out of the truck for the new yak. Should fit in most full size trucks. I drive a 2004 Z71 Chevy. I'll post pictures if anyone is interested.

Re: Kayaks

Sit-On-Top is the best way to go for fishing. It's hard to say what kayak is best. It might be what's best for you and your pocket book. I have a Heritage redfish that I picked up from a local legend (TallTails). I love the yak. It's not as fast as the others but it's very stable. Other brands that ...

I don't think the range in the Nat. Forest allows for shotguns. At least it didn't in the past. If you want to shoot clays I would recommend the Coon Bottom Gun Club off HWY 12 in Concord (Coon Bottom). You can shoot Trap or Skeet there. They are open Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

I agree with bman. I don't think these kids grew up doing any kind of hunting and don't have any ethics to go with it. I grew up deer hunting and I'm fairly new to duck hunting, but the same ethics go along with it. I think these kids want to try and hunt somewhere and ducks are the only thing they ...
