Re: A little help

Sorry Waldo, but three-inch mesh gills fish and is therefore banned under the amendment. And numerous court cases have upheld that definition. If only a fraction of the effort used to fight the ban was instead devoted to cast-net fishing, legal seines, hook-and-line, aquaculture and other sustainab...

Re: RedTrout Banquet & Auction

Just thought I'd share a few pics of a rod that will be on the live auction. The blank is an MHX D822-W, 6'10", in a great looking white finish. You'll be amazed at how well this rod will handle, jigs, popping corks & weightless lures. The guides are Pac Bay Minima micro spinning frames to ...

Re: Talon vs Power Pole

I use a 15 pound lead anchor. Deploys easily, quiet,no need for remote control,no hindrance for back deck casting, works at depths to 25 feet. X 2, But I still want a Talon or a Power Pole :smt007 thought someone on here said the Talon weighs less than the P/P in a thread last year The actual units w...

Re: Need help with an old trolling motor...

Based on the Google images and results, 3 wires is a 24 wiring harness 2 wires is a 12V wiring harness. Hook it up to 24V and it should run full bore. Since it's running backwards, the first thing that comes to mind is either it's in reverse (it appears as though it had reverse) or it's wired backwa...

Re: Need help with an old trolling motor...

I picked up an old Johnson / OMC trolling motor. The previous owner said it could be wired and used as a 12 volt or 24 volt. I need to find out if this is true, and if so, how to wire it for 12 volts. It has three wires coming from the motor - Red, White, and Black. It is bow mount, hand steered, M...

Get the wife a push mower & tell her you've been worried about her cardiovascular health. She'll appreciate your concern & will gladly cut the grass.

Re: Truck and boat wiring in Moultrie area

I'm guessing that is the place off the road on the left heading out towards Valdosta with several boats parked in the fenced area? I just noticed them the other day. I'll give him a call. That's the one right beside Thompson Electric & behind Superior something. Good guys & they've done goo...
