Atticus, in your opinion when is a fish considered to be caught, held, or in possesion ?

EDIT: I guess what the question should ask is in your opinion "of the law"

If I catch a legal slot red fish and put him in my livewell and continue to fish and then later catch another slot red that just happens to be a bit larger and replace the smaller one in the livewell with him, thats illegal? As to the 6pack cooler for measuring, I use the just legal trout for grouper baits and that coiled line is actually a leash, he's pet sized at 24". That may be a new boat but I ain't new to fishing, just fishing in SJB, and new out of that boat. :thumbup:
