Re: Tuffleye product

Bob Popovics said in an article that he is using it almost exclusively now, which speaks volumes. I haven't bought it yet, but only because I don't have much time to tie lately.

Re: line to leader connection

I make a loop on the end of the running line by doubling it over and then tying a couple of nail knots around it with mono. Coat the nail knots with epoxy if you're worried about them possibly coming undone. Then tie a perfection loop on the butt of your leader and connect loop to loop.

Re: East Flats Sunday

Good day RS! I guess one day I'll be able to do that with my girls. Maybe there's hope for my fishing career yet.

I agree BD. When they're turned on, you can throw a dirty sock at them and they'll eat it.

Good job Lit. There's something really satisfying about taking a day that you think is going to end up terrible and pulling a good trip out of it right at the end.

Re: New Hobie Revolution

That's a nice boat. I know that the paddles fold up flat against the bottom when not in use, but how much do they inhibit shallow water use? And are they easy to take out when you're out paddling if you need to?

Re: Collapsable Stripping Bucket

Yeah, I have the laundry basket version - think I got it in the little home area in Lowes. BD, you might like it. It's a smaller diameter and taller than the leaf basket version above. Only problem with it is that the spring in it is metal, so it rusts over time. They're only a few bucks to replace ...
