In my opinion,(I certainly don't know it all) you might want to rethink trying to find bait in 8 to 10 foot of water--especially if all you're interested in is inshore bait. If you're going offshore and want fresh bait that's a different story. I would focus on spots where the bait concentrate in 4'...

Well I did go yesterday, and as nice as the boots worked out--they apparently scare fish off for miles away  Probably not a lot of fish around here. I started out at the creek mouth to right, and tried every artificial I was carrying: jig w/and w/o an equalizer, a top water popper, and a gold ...

Hey, Good to know. Thank ya  Back to the original question... I'm planning on trying out some new wading boots at Wakulla Beach tomorrow. I'll be itching to tell everyone if I find any fish on those flats. Wish me luck _________________ I'm in hot plate heaven, at the green hotel--FZ <font siz...

any pointers for fishing this weed hole? I was canoeing down there this weekend, yeah its pretty scenic, but I'd have no clue how to fish it. I thought I saw a few bass. There is a real nice campsite down there, Goose Pasture. I was figuring I could fish the Wacissa, camp that night, and then hit th...

Vitz, Thanks for the info. I usually just take my cast net when I'm fishing down there anyway, but now I know why I'm looking for an alternative. It really is a shame when some people can't/won't figure out that when you devistate your local ecology it is still finacially devistating. Then again, ma...

Yep I'm itchin to try it. And that is a pretty good site. I usually get much better responses here though. BTW Cheap Thrills is an excellent album and cheap (usually about 6 to 8 bucks) Its got Catholic Girls, and a couple other greats live. Take care and catch em up  <font size=-1>[ This Mess...

Phisnfool, yeah I think you got the place. We tied up directly to the metal structure on either side. It seems like if you weren't fishing striaght up and down under the boat it was alot easier for them to pick you. I think it was just harder to feel them hit  Also the more I think of it, I th...

Phisnfool, Uhmmm to my knowledge the only thing the guy sells are crawfish. He also does wood carvings... big ones.:???: He just recently started selling them again I think. He stoped for about a year, but now he's back. Geddy road might be it, is there a big industrial plant on the hwy 20 end? Like...

Hey OD, I would also target the higher points of the tide. That's when they're most likely to be infront of the first sand bar. Eddiejoe, the ones we found were a little big for the whiting. Do you need to keep the flea moving to keep it from digging back down into the sand? Thanks if I get out ther...
