When using braided line, I always put the braid on as backing and used 100 to 150 yards of quality mono. When fishing for large or medium fish I was more concerned about the quanity of line on the reel. When using 20 or 30# mono I used 50# braid. When using !00# (Tuna fishing on a west coast charter ...

I bought the Garmin gps map 76csx from pcnation for $314. It was more than I wanted to spend put I now have all of the options they offered. It sure works nice and grabs the sats quick.

We used the Calcuuta reels on the West coast on Albacore, dolphin, yellowtail and small yellow fin tuna. They are rock solid and are in great favor for those willing to pay the price.

Which GPS

Which GPS seems to be the best for reliability and ease of use? Garmin, Magellan, Lowrance, Hummingbird or other? I was at the tourney weigh-in and noticed a wide range on the member's boats. Thanks for your input.
