Thanks cap'n! I'll have a small boat, but prefer to wade... main reason for boat is that if I'm lucky enough to get into a silver we can chase him! hehehe

BTW.... do the cobia ever get inshore in that region? I the bays at all?

Hey y'all!

I'm going to b staying on St. George Island over the holiday, and wondering what to expect. My gig is fly fishing, particularly for trout (as in salmonoids), but have been tinkering with saltwater most of my life... I'll be bringing everything from medium-light spinning tackle to 12 ...

Thanks EddieJoe.... I never use gaffs (except when on the occasional cod excursion), and will fully recessitate any of these beautiful fish I actually get close enough to touch. I've got my FL license already, just wasn't so sure about the tarpon tag thing.
