Re: Keaton Beach 10/20
Fished Yates Creek area Thursday. 3 drifts = 10 trout to 19" and 5 reds to 28". All in 4-5' of water, which was fairly close in with big tide.

Keaton
How does the water clarity look around Keaton right now? Going down tomorrow and got a report yesterday from the Hatch that the water is churned up bad and a lot of floating grass. Also, bite was really slow.

My favorite I have is the Engel 65. I have Yeti, igloo marine, and coleman but I favor the Engel. It has better handles and latches than the yeti and the 65 Engel is about the same weight as the 45 yeti. A little heavy but not bad.

Check with Kenny Lemieux, Doghouse Charters out of Port St. Joe. Always a big time and plenty of catching.

Re: Chandeleur Islands
My buddy, marine artist Craig Brumfield, lives in Ocean Springs and recommends True North Chandeleur Charters as a back-up. Says Southern Sports is the best and Joka's also good, but they're often full as well.

Looking for opinions on boat trips to Chandeleurs. Southern Sports is out, booked. What other boats have you used and had a great trip, Joka's Wild, Due South, Double Trouble?
