CS we were south of channel, between grass and piney island in 6-8 ft water. Whats with all the floating alge?

What dealer was it from?

Went with friend, got down late fri. and caught 5 nice keeper trout. Sat morn with early start beat the crowd and ended up with 8 keeper trout, several spanish and a 27" cobia. we had numerous spoolings and went up to 30lbs line and discovered it was cobia, never caught them on the flats before ...

Very windy and cold,surprisnly water was warm could not fish for crappie but we found some nice bream. Still trying to do the picture posting thing without success, not at all good with computers.

Very windy, so we went to north end of lake. Cooler days and nites seem to have crappie back out in 10-16 ft of water. We fought the wind for 5 hr and still lacked 3 fish for a limit. Didn't have to work on boat much so I guess it was a good trip.

I have never seen so many boats and people on a lake before. Literly could not troll for other boats. Crappie are from 16ft to bank. We fished for awhile and give it up to the weekend fishermen. We came home with 47, but they were are good ones. Lesson learned, no weekend fishing.

Took 4.5hr and 12dz minnows but finally got a limit of crappie. They are messing with the water agan and this cool weather had them back out where we fished in Dec. 21-25ft water about 2-5ft off bottom. Temp 66 on top of water.

Very muddy with temp of 59-60. Numerous bass boats with "sporty" :( drivers. Crappy are in the mid ransge, we fished in 16-19 ft water below the causeway with a limit in 5 hr. Size ranged from small to very large. We caught all on minnows, tryed jigs without a fish. Would show a picture but dont ...

Crappie, It was the best fall ever, just no weather to try them lately.

Same hole ,same results, although very high winds and waves prevented crew from enjoying trip.
