Can anyone report the condition of the landing at Alligator Point? How big of a boat can be put in there? How affected is the landing with the tide?

Has anyone put in at mashes Sands landing recently? Is the boat ramp usable? Looking to put in a 16' skiff.

Just go out there Saturday and follow Tin can around. Be sure to stay within 10-15 yards of him all day. he loves it when you cast over his line. Look for the big white boat with the dis-proportionately (to the boat) short guy. Keep in mind, he only seems grumpy, he really enjoys the company ...

I got pulled by the same boat at the K tower about 6 weeks ago. The officers decided not to board ( I guess rough seas as well being around 4'). I was curious but not curious enough to ask if they had jurisdiction in Federal waters.
