That was interesting. I wanted to get out a water bottle and fill it up with 22 just to get a better idea.

Thanks for the challenge. 👍

Forgotten Coast

Someone asked me recently where is the forgotten coast. I replied that it is from Keaton to Port St Joe. Is there any real demarcation?

Now that I have thought about it probably from Cedar Key to PSJ.

Re: Shallow water grouper out of St. Marks ?

I heard a tale of grouper being caught 4 miles out of St Marks back in November, but I wasn't given any more details.

I would give it a try, but my fishing partner doesn't feel like putting up with the rain.

Re: East River

I've seen that spot from the road when there is very little water so watch the tide and wind direction for water levels.

Btw, why is it called the East River when it is West of the Lighthouse? Maybe it was named East because it is East of Port Leon?

Re: Trailer axle replacement

Most of the old bolts broke or snapped, which was fine, I replaced with SS bolts(use anti-seize or grease to prevent galling). Get a can of PB Blaster and soak all the bolts down several days before you start, then again when you are ready to take them off. You might want to get a grinder ready in ...

Re: 1/30 Ochlocknee River and Bay

I found them on The fish rules app called sand seatrout but I heard they go by multiple names. I figured if they were there some bigger fish should be around to eat them!
