Re: 3/25/23 Fishing Report
I have seen 2 large cats out there recently! I thought about taking one home to see for myself how good the are. I had to go all the way to the Pinhook River to catch a nice Red on Friday.

Re: New to Area looking for Boat Ramp Advice
For a 27' boat St Marks Fort would be plenty of room (as doomtrpr said), but the St Marks Lighthouse ramp would be a little tight. I haven't launched at Shields in a while, but I think it was $5 per launch last time I was there and it should be fine for you. If you are talking about the Lanark Boat ...

Re: Can we talk Boats?
That brings up a question for the Red Bearded one, why isn't Lake and Bay on your short list? My sister's boyfriend has one it seems like a well built boat.

Re: Can we talk Boats?
Went and looked at a 25’ Sea Hunt yesterday; was pretty surprised how much is “standard” and the value your getting compared to other similar brands. So you're saying the Sea Hunt is a better value that other comparable brands? I have two friends with Sea Hunt boats. One is a 17' 1999 CC with a 115...

I was just thinking about that on Saturday. The ditches have lots of lilies on 267 from Wakulla St to the Lighthouse Rd.

Re: Spring pattern
We were out near the sand bar checking crab traps Friday and Saturday afternoon and the fog was thick. Water temp was 72 and air temp must have been 71. So glad to have 2 separate GPS devices to find my way home!

Re: Fishing Story…but this one has heart
Great story! We went fishing with my girlfriends Dad on Saturday who is 78 and ran his long tail mud motor for about 3 hours in super skinny water to get us a limit of reds. Some new memories are even better than the old ones!
I would post pics, but I forgot how!

Re: The tide graphic chart???
No when go to tide page and pick a station. Then select graphic chart it won't work. This is what I get. XTide Fatal Error: PNG_WRITE_FAILURE A general fatal error occurred while producing a PNG. Apparently no graph was produced. Probably this machine is overloaded. Try again in a little while. Sor...

Re: Info on Cedar Key/Manatee Springs
Manatee Springs is a great spot to kayak and watch Manatees, but no ramp close by to launch a boat. There is a big parking lot near the spring where I've parked my boat in the past. It's about 35 miles to Cedar Key and that is the best spot for fishing in the area. Late May is pretty good for fishin...

Just wondering how the population of pigs is doing. Do you still have more to eradicate?

Re: Apalachee Bay Nautical Map
Thanks but I don't see lat/long lines. Are you looking for electronic or paper? The lat/long lines are displayed on the edge of the paper chart. If you want to measure between the lines you need some old school tools! https://www.captainsnautical.com/collections/course-plotting-tools/products/130-g...
