Re: Passing of "PA" Futchcairo
He was a wonderful man and has given me so much guidance over the last 20 years. He told me to crank my boat every three weeks, no matter what. I have never forgotten that advice, and will think of him every time I do it! I wish that I had fished with him more.

I tried to do this one time a few years ago. It was cheaper to just buy a new one from Amazon.

Thanks Capt. Dave!! Based off of your recommendation he called Paul today and booked a trip. I appreciate you as always!silverking wrote:Capt. Paul Hobby, fishinghobby.com
Kind of late for the beach run, but if anyone can put your friend on resident fish, it would be Paul.

Tarpon Guides
I have a friend heading to Ft. Myers later this month. He is looking for a tarpon guide to book while he is there. Do you guys know anyone that you can recommend? Thanks!

Re: VHF Channels
The only time my radio said anything was some yahoo trying to get a radio check on channel 16 and the coast guard reminded him that the channel was for emergencies only. What we should do is all the people on this forum to pick a channel for either St Marks or econfina area and to monitor that chan...
