Re: Big Tiger shark off SGI
Yep, it's true. The Texan's have been planning on fishing that area for a while. They came prepared with their own bait from Texas and numerous 12/0, 16/0 and other large reels. It was really a matter of time, I helped a little with area information but for the most part they fished "Texas"...

Fishermen and Captains From PSJ to IP
If anyone would like to make some extra cash, I am looking for cownose stingray, and possbilby some blues etc for bait. The cownose would be my first choice, but I would be willing to pay for others. I will be in the area the second week of September and would appreciate any help. And if you have bo...

Re: Too Close for Comfort
currents and tides can be tricky at IP. I know I have had to run in close to the beach a time or two. Maybe 150-200 feet. I would imagine that minus a diver down flag, the boats would have the right of way for whatever would be safe passage. Can't imagine why anyone would want to dive in the pass. ...

Too Close for Comfort
At Indian Pass what is the legal distance you can drive your boat near shore, near swimmers. I though it was a hundred feet which aint much. I know it's the same at the Pass as the other regulations but that sandbar near the boatramp might be giving people the idea that you can run 40 yards off the ...

What to expect this Fall
I'm jumping the gun here knowing that the tarpon are in full swing and all. But looking ahead, when has and when would you expect the mullet to start moving out of Apalache? Am I right in saying that things got going a little slow this year around the big bend, so will the fall runs be slower too? M...

Re: IP and CSB Land-based Shark Report
You ever fished for shark at the Sebastian Inlet on the East Coast. That used to be an excellent place to catch shark from the beach. We would chunk our bait out in the stream leaving the inlet and follow it around to the beach. It was rare that we didn't have one on every other drift. Some nights ...

CSB Land-based Shark Report
Headed out late June to fish until the fourth of July recently. Looked for a new hole and had hopes of finding the elusive tiger shark around IP. Had foul weather for yaking and a boatload of weed for several days. The pass was a challenge for me because of the weather and because of the boats that ...
