Re: For Sale 18 foot Sailfish

I've seen this boat driving by if it's the one by the vegetable stand. Can't imagine another Sailfish in Calvary... It is a very clean and really good looking boat. You might want to post the price and any accessories on the boat.

Re: $30 way to not buy a YETI.

I use two liter bottles, half gallon milk jugs, etc. too. Most of the time I just fill up some gallon and quart zip lock bags and freeze them. I don't fill them completely so they are fairly flat on the sides and stack better. A layer over the bottom of the cooler with a bag or two of ice over them ...

Re: Hybrids 5/3/2016

I love catching those! They can pull a string hard. I used to catch them on Seminole as a kid but I hear they aren't there much these days. I need to learn where to find them on the river.

Re: Fishing Port St Joe

The pot holes are mainly in the back of the bay on the flats. Any flat 2 to 6 feet with grass patches is likely to hold fish. Look at a google satellite image of the bay. Stop in at the Cape Trading Post and ask for John or Todd. They are two of my best friends and own the store. Good info, full lin...

Re: Tackle Box Help

Add some 5/0 wide gap Gamakatsu worm hooks and a few packs of Zoom Flukes in pearl, pumpkin green and pumpkin brown. Fish them weightless with only the hook and fluke. Get some Z Man paddlers, Berkeley Gulp shrimp in new penny, natural, and some other colors, and some jig heads in 1/8th and 1/4 ounc...

Re: Latest Cabelas news

That sucks. The merging will probably lead to a lot less choice for the consumer. I really like Cabela's private label clothing. It's always been high quality. I'm afraid Redhead will ruin it.

Re: Lower Ochlockonee Paddle Trail and fly fishing trip

I grew up catching bream and bass on a fly rod but haven't done it in years so I just don't check out the fly fishing section that much on here. I'll be checking it out more now after reading your blog about this trip. I really enjoyed it.

Re: Latest Cabelas news

I haven't been in a Sport's Authority in a few years. Is it still stocked with stuff for mountain stream fishing? Why do you think they've gone bankrupt? They sure failed in market research if they still had the stuff that was in the last one I was in. I'm wondering if it's worth a drive to T...

Re: Bass Pro Gift Card

My offer is still out there on the BPS card. If my offer is too low let me know and we'll discuss it. I'll be in Tallahassee Sunday to pick up some seats that are on sale and some replacement pliers for the one's resting on the bottom in 60 feet of water off Carrabelle.
