Re: Back Hurts after Catching So Many Fish
I love the underwater shots and am interested in doing that myself. Would you mind describing the set up you use with your Go Pro? Are you able to view the video on the boat after reeling it in or do you have to wait until you're back home at a computer? I've never owned a Go Pro.

Thanks. That’s got to be it. You’ve had good experience with them? Anybody else?

Boat Electronics Install/Repair near Lake Talquin
Is anyone familiar with a boat electronics install/repair shop out near Lake Talquin? I got a recommendation from someone for it but I can’t remember the name. Troy’s Speed Shop is what I remember but an Internet/Facebook search isn’t coming up with anything.

There's also that place on Crawfordville Hwy., just south of the courthouse and next to the Dollar General. I think they usually have crawdads. Named something like On the Bayou maybe?

Re: MK Ulterra reliability
Only trouble I ever had was operator error. I forgot I had it deployed and took off on the big motor. When I realized after a few second the trolling motor was down, I stopped and tried to bring it up. It wouldn't come all the way up and I tried to help/force it and broke it. In hindsight, I should ...

You might check into the Coast Guard Auxillary. I know they have a local chapter. On their website, they offer a variety of courses. I've never taken one but I've seen their displays at various outdoor events.

Wanted - 20 guage #5 or 6 shot
Does anybody have a couple of boxes of 20 guage #5 or 6 shot they'd part with? My son and I got invited to a tower pheasant shoot this weekend and all I have is dove loads. I guess in a pinch that would work but if I could find some #5 or 6 I'd prefer that. Let me know what you've got. I'm in ...

Re: Food Plots - What to plant?
Wow. Lots of info here. A few responses to questions posed in the thread and a couple questions of my own:
I don't have a way to get water to the plots.
My only experience with food plots is hunting over them from condo blinds with a feeder in the middle of each plot. I was thinking that I was ...

Re: Food Plots - What to plant?
This will be my first time planting food plots and I was curious what folks would recommend I plant. Let me hear it! What size? What kind of ground? Any prep work done? Do you want to prep the soil first, or a no till mix? Do you dove hunt? What kinda budget we looking at?
