Re: Looking for Econfina Grass Intel

Econfina's grass has been killed because of the super dark water for months. Its is coming back slow but there is grass to be found, short but holds trout and pinfish. You just have to motor around till you find it. If you find it, stop because you will be off it quick. We managed about 15 nice pins...

Re: Insurance Question

That's really great info. Kinda what was going through my mind is how it would go for me. Actually I need to work 10 more years or so, which makes maybe just buying some land the way to go. I already have a place at Econfina which is great and affordable for now. Lots of things to think about. Back ...

Re: Insurance Question

Thats good info. Not sure what i'm going to do but it won't be on the coast. Would love something on the Saint Marks or Wakulla river though. My wife wants to wait it out to closer to retirement but seems we might be near a bottom and could be a good time to find a deal.

Insurance Question

Been kicking around the idea of buying something in Florida but what i've heard with the new insurance issues its kinda scaring me off. Have some family that live in Florida and they told me only one company writes homeowners anymore. Seems kinda insane. Just trying to get some accurate information....

Re: Econfina Clarity

Its been slow. River has been the best. Creeks have shown little action. Haven't been since the last rain though.

I've cancelled 4 weekends in a row. To much rain to make the trip worth it. Never seen anything like it.

Re: First Keeper Red!!

He should be ashamed, all that fishing he's always doing and you have to paddle a canoe? Tom, take a girl fishing dude! Especially your sister ! I think every fish I catch is unforgettable until I catch the next one and realize I've forgot the one I just caught and can't wait until I catch the next ...
