I have used them for years. For topping off trailer and lawn tractor tires they cant be beat. I wouldget the cheapest one I could find. If you are lucky you will not use it often, but if you need it often then you have another problem.

One other thing to look at, that motor is known for having coil problems. While the motor is running check the spark on each cylendar. Look for a spark that is weeker and different color on one cylender.

To keep this going here are some of my observations: Many published spots were marked before the most recent GPS tecnology was available (WASS, Differental or disabled selective availibility) or were coverted Loran time differences which can be 1/4 mile off. On a lesser scale different boats will ma...

Is there an archive?

Tom

I tried to pull up an old post by Russ Cash that I had saved the URL for but it was gone.

http://www.bigbendfishing.net/discus/me ... 1001625443

If it is possible to get it back I will save the whole post.

Thanx

Acetone and plastic fuel tanks?

Has any one tried cleaning contaminated plastic fuel tanks with acetone. I was sure I read about someone doing this on one of the forums but all searches have failed to find it. Maybe I dreamed it. The acetone label has A warning about plastics.
Thanx in advance.

Tom is right, the one at the state park is only suitable for Jon Boats. The RV park on the left as you enter the island has A paved ramp, but im sure it would not be suitable for A 24' boat. I thought I might be able to launch 17' but have not yet tried. There are some good ramps in Apalatch. The pub...
