RIP CSMarine

Been a minute since posting but just read CSMarine passed away on 08/31. I worked with him in Albany GA at the Marine base for a few years. I fished my first tournament with him out of Keaton. He was active on the board years ago - like a lot of us. Rest easy old friend.

Re: Would you still fish if you couldn't keep anything?

Yes - grew up in the take all you can times and saw the impact of taking too much.

Have had a self imposed rule of not keeping any trout over 20" for many years.

When I fished kill tournaments we spent a lot of time and effort keeping fish alive and released them when we could. Have even driven ...

Re: Tyndall AFB

Research Road ramp is the only ramp you can access that is really a boat ramp for crooked island sound - there is another on the "beach" road, but it is primitive. They require you to have a permit to use the ramp and fish the area - that was recently imposed and policing of it is hit or miss. I ...

Re: Frontier vs. Robalo Cayman 206

EVERY boat can benefit from having trim tabs. Invaluable for adjusting to sea state, load and improve planing attitude. I wouldn't own a boat without tabs and I test boats for a living.

When mine looks like this on pad - trim tabs don't help much
