Purchased the Garmin 162 Map GPS. Just installed it yesterday. Been playing with it with my computer & it is an incredible machine. Thanks again.

Another method for redfish you might want to try is working the spartina along the shoreline on a fairly strong incoming tide. Fished out of Econfina on Sunday. Threw every kind of jig, spoon, topwater plug, live shrimp, & bull minnows at the fish but nothing seemed to interest them. Had one 16 inch trout to accept a jig and an oversized redfish took a minnow and after a screaming run that left me with a blistered thumb ...

For large trout try the potholes in the grass flats between Presnell's and Blacks Island very early in the morning. Large, noisy topwater plugs like the zara spook or top dog should get their attention so hang on! Stealth & long casts increase your odds of landing one to talk about. Good luck.

I'm currently shopping for a GPS. I've pretty much narrowed it down to a Garmin WASS GPS 76 and a Garmin WAAS GPS 152. The 76 is a handheld & the 152 a fixed mount. Any input would be appreciated.
