Dropped the boat in at daylight yesterday. Once to the spot we tried topwater, no luck except for a catfish. Tide was incoming, so we headed up the creek. Caught several Reds in the deeper pockets and the stagnant looking pools of water that no one would think hold fish, but they did. One of the ...

If your boat will get you to the skinny water, try the shore lines around grass beds. Creeks hold Reds as well. Bait of choice would be Jerk shads and Spoons. Most soft plastics will do the trick if worked properly.
