Seen one swim across a creek and then up into the needlegrass right in front of the boat last winter. Had the tail.
Also seen bobcats as big as a German Shepard in the area.

Went trolling around in 25-30 ft yesterday.

No groupas, but we did run into 35" of some of that!

I have a Garmin 440s and love it. Garmins are known for being a bit slow as far a reaction time goes, and I have had issues picking up a signal on cloudy day but that is rare. Fish the piers. Especially if you see them crowded. I saw a sailfish get caught off Dan Russell pier in September years ago.

There must be tons of the stuff on some of the popular reefs, that can't be good. What should you do, tie a lugnut to your line, bring gravel? Never seen eco-friendly weights around here.
