I just got a 420s and the gdb and mps formats do not directly transfer to the device. You have to get the Trip and Waypoint manager ($30), a blank SD card, and a SD card reader for your PC. Insert the card in the device first and then turn it on. The device will format the SD card. Then open the gdb...
