Re: In Advance, Please Forgive Me For This Rant

Gary - You speak much truth. Also I want to give you props for the leadership aand inspiration you give to young folks to aspire to achieve their best. Unfortunately all three constituencies share the blame [the 99%, the 1%, and the government (both parties)] all squabbling about the problem and doi...

Re: Jack Wingate has died

"Cuz, they'll be bitin' tomorrow!"

Breakfast at the lodge was a special experience. City folks will never understand the grace and kindness he embodied. I read many of his stories in "'Round Faceville". What a gift he had.

Thanks for folks like him!!

Re: full time help needed

Hey Salt Life - I sent your post to one of my sons (Heywood McCord) - don't know if he can help...but he might be interested. Hard worker & reliable. BTW I think my place at LOI is right in front of you facing the canal on Albin Dr. I'll be there later this week. If you can still walk after you ...

The FCKA (the kayakers) has a fairly active freshwater bunch. Won't be the "BIG LAKE FAST BOAT" reports though.

Re: favorite topwater lures??

Just my $0.02 - I like to fish topwater 'cuz when I'm in the creeks and workin' diffrent water depths (0' - 6') and handling the trolling motor I can let the lure rest while "on maneuvers" and stay out of the bottom structure. Also, like a bass fisherman I can have a good day on the water ...
