Correct, He is going to have to do that. I was just giving him an estimated weight.Snapperlr wrote:I don't think the DMV will allow you to calculate the weight. They want something official. It's easy to do in St Marks.

Re: Catching Trout At Keaton 5/20 Video
Sorry, I might have been a little strong in my message. I understand having fun catching fish and the excitement and all, but we all need to be a little more careful with our catch. Also if that fish you catch first thing in the morning is exactly 15" and you put him on ice, in a few hours that...

Re: Catching Trout At Keaton 5/20 Video
Went back to Keaton last weekend. The wind was better, but still blowing pretty good. It seems to be windier this year. Below is a link to a video of our day. I hope you enjoy. The next video will probably be scalloping!!! https://youtu.be/eZU3MZdhbfg Are you serious, are you guys really putting a ...

Re: Registering a boat trailer
This is the only place I can think of to ask this question so hopefully somebody can help. I have moved to Florida from Georgia. My boat trailer is registered in Georgia and I still have the registration. When I went to the DMV to find out what I needed to register it in Florida they said I need a ...

Re: Sale on Gulp baits
Thanks for the heads up! Guess I'll ride over to Dick's and see if the sale is at the Dothan store too. I do like gulps but like mentioned, I hate the newer soft ones and I refuse to pay $7 for six fake shrimp that won't last for more than a couple of hits but I still keep them in the inventory and...

Re: Sale on Gulp baits
I actually called Berkley this morning and posted a complaint with them. I explained what we are experiencing with the baits tearing off the hooks. I also gave her info to the BBF so they could read the comments posted. Might work, might not. We will see. She did say they took every call seriously.

Re: Sale on Gulp baits
Have you guys noticed any difference in the quality of GULP in their newest packs? My son and I have noticed if you buy the newer Jerk Shad packs with the white background, the baits seem much softer and do not last long before they tear off the hook. It has caused me to begin using other brands. I...

FYI, There are a couple of Tournaments going on tomorrow. One for sure out of Econfina ramp with probably 7- 12 boats just a guess. and the Red Trout ...

Re: Ft. DeSoto by kayak
A buddy and I fished the CCA Tampa All-Release Challenge back in 1994 before the net ban was approved. Each contestant is given a box of lures and can only use those to compete. We fished the inside mangrove islands off Ft. DeSoto and I caught the third-place snook (37 inches) on a DOA BaitBuster a...
Re: JOTD
great song...funny joke. I've been through a divorce; not fun even if handled efficiently. Mine took about 7 days. Swore off marriage after that, but alas I'm engaged again as of a few weeks ago. Proposed on the boat while in Charlotte Harbor on the way to Tarpon Lodge. That reminds me, I still owe...
