Re: Oil Spill
They just screwed the pooch boys. They are now saying this is the worst disaster in recorded history. It will change the world before it is over. The Gulf might literally be a tar pit.

Captian Charlie
Call me Capt. Charlie. Gene and them are coming into town and we are cooking fish and eating oysters. Might even drink a cold beer. We owe you one. -Lance

Re: Fishng this weekend?
Well............my spots are closed and covered with oil. Boat is in Pensacola and it looks like she will be there a while. We are thinking of moving it over to my Uncle's place at Hilton Head for a change of scenery. Stinking shame about the oil.

Re: What's your rig????
Nice looking boat FRP. You will enjoy that one. It looks like a redfish machine to me. When we fish the flats I take my little 1436 with a 8hp yamaha and love it. It has been perfect for the rivers and creeks around Econfina. Just watch the wind and weather and there is no reason you cant fish out a...

Re: Idiot Brother
The rest of the story is that you just have to know Gene. We have a pond about 50 yards from here and as ou can see it is running over. Idiot was headed up to daddy's to get breakfast and he saw a baitcup floating in the puddle (as he called it). He figred since it was 4wd he would be fine and sunk ...

Re: Mercury Optimax
If you buy a friggin Mercury I will drive down to Albany and kick your %*#. If you are planning on buying new don't put your self in that position. I put more hours on my boats than most folks and I have owned all brands. There is a reason why I have Yamahas hanging off the back of my boats.

Re: NauticStar Boats
it is hard comparing Key West quality to other boats. . I would say nauticstar is equal to key west in quality not better or worse. I just looked at there website and NS has some good layouts. they also have a lifetime hull warranty. You would just have to hope the stay in bizness. Go and bu...

Re: NauticStar Boats
I agree that Mako has lost a lot of quality. They arent what they were. I have a 7 year old mako 1901 and it is starting to fall apart. lots of cracks in the fiberglass and rused bolts. It is under the barn right now. my brother uses it alot and it still looks fine but they were good boats at one ti...
