PS: I want to add one thing. Be sure you have a GOOD compass on your boat and learn how to use it. Just for the heck of it one day, when you are out, try turning off your GPS and see if you can navigate back home with only the compass. Electronics do fail! Dubble :thumbup: Good advice,.. Let's face it... most people don't run their boat every week. I think fuel injectors hold up better to sitting around unused than does a carb. I don't know man. There are alot of 1960's and 1970's motors still turning strong and they are all carbs. On a car I would agree with you but not an outboar...

That don't make sense. The 90hp Yamaha 2 stroke is one of the best motors ever made and it has carbs. I have never heard of anybody having trouble with one.

Yamaha is the only choice unless you like to spend time in the shop. I am not trying to pick a fight with anyone but I know from experience and have several friends who run boats for a living. Yamaha quality is hard to beat.
