Re: What can I expect?
Looks like a 15 pitch is a little high on the rpms. Rev limiter kickin in. I called PT props and the were very helpful. They reccomended a 17x13 semi-cleave prop.

Re: What can I expect?
Yeah, its kinda strange how its made. I went ahead and picked up a new one yesterday. Not sure if its called a thrust washer or spacer. Its the one that is splined. The store only had one for a Mercury, but it lined up and installed fine on my Yammie

What can I expect?
Just got a new prop in. I am changing from a rapture 13 1/4 x 17 pitch to a powertech 13 x 15 pitch. I was turning 5250rpms at 39mph with the rapture and had very little holeshot. I am sure my top speed will be down some, but was curios what you guys thought. The boat is a Sea Pro sv1900 with a 115 ...

Primer bulb
I've had a problem with my motor dying on me when I was taking off or at WOT. I think I found the problem while riding this weekend. The boat died on me again while trying to plane off and I reached back to pump the bulb and got fuel all over my hand. It looked like it had been leaking in the back ...

Re: NauticStar Boats
Get one that floats pretty good and RIDE DIRTY! You can scoop out a lot of water with a cut off coke can. Stay away from water that is over your head, if you are swimming impaired. Stay "jolly mon",insiders will get that!

Re: Seems like it's flooding with trim down
Here are my results. I think my 60hp has turned imto a 90! Rpms went from 5000 with my new prop to 5600 at wide open throttle. boat seems to idle quieter and has alot more punch. Now i run 32mph vs 30 before. I am running 27-28 mph at about 4700 rpms trimmed out. I love my rig! Lets all go fishing!

Re: Seems like it's flooding with trim down
Got the boat back yesterday and ran it on the hose. It started faster the it has before and seem to run great. The only thing i still noticed is that it still smoked really bad with the trim all the way down. The sound of the motor did not change nearly as much but it did still smoke pretty bad. I ...

Re: Seems like it's flooding with trim down
Well i got my call today saying my boat was ready to go! Linkages were out of adjustment. How that happens i have no clue. Huggins outboard only charged me $42.50 to get me back in fine shape. I feel much better now!

Seems like it's flooding with trim down
I have a 1998 yamaha 60hp motor on my boat. Recently it has started running rough when i take off or if my trim is all the way down idling. Sounds strange, i dropped it off at the repair shop today. Any ideas what they may find? Should i brace myself?

bimini top v/s radio antenna
If you have a 4 foot antenna mounted on your console with your top on, will that interfere with your signal strength?
