Re: Inshore Fishing This Weekend?

At least in Carrabelle if you go outside the river for trout and reds, you are backing up. Spent 4 hours on the flats 2 Tuesdays ago. 2 tiny speckled trout, and 2 pinfish. Headed up the river and stopped in a 25ft hole, anchored. Put 2 lice shrimp on the bottom. Couldn't even get the Vienna's out of...

Re: An UGLY win

Now we know what Urban Meyers illness was! The cupboard is bare disease! Didn't want to hurt his sainthood by coaching a very mediocre teams two years in a row. Re: 24' Bay Scout

If you are going for enjoyment, be sure the forecast no more than 1 to 2 feet. Remember that most of the people on this forum are inshore fishermen and women. The last offshore boat I had was a 30' Grady center console. I almost never went out when the forecast was 2-4 foot. The other thing to be ve...

Re: First Boat ride with my Daughter...

Takes me back 30 years! Oldest daughter was born in December. Had to wait till late Feb. for her first boat ride. Youngest was born in late April. She was on the water at 2 weeks. Both are waterlovers. :D

Re: Ethanoled

We can still buy non-ethanol fuel but we pay more and have to order a week in advance. They call it recreational gas. Because of the extra expense and the planning required it's going to be difficult to get anywhere but marinas.

Re: Outboard question...

I'd take it to a pro. The flywheel need to come off as there is probably a nest or two under there also the air intake and lower unit at a minimum. We've seen dirt daubers take out a powerhead! :bang_1
