Some pics of the new Vengeance
Here is some pics of my new skiff. I can honestly say, I found my dreamboat. I know many are ready to give up on finding THE ONE, but keep looking, there is one out there for you. Really though, I am super happy with my new skiff. I have had the chance to fish on it for a few weeks now and have real...

Re: Capt. Leake's Beavertail Vengeance
While I'm not planning on replacing the BTX at this point, I'd love to take a look at that thing if your ever around Lanark for Tarpon this summer. The amount of freeboard looks great, that's one of my few complaints with the B1 / B2 / BTX hulls. While a low freeboard helps cut down on the wind cat...

Re: Capt. Leake's Beavertail Vengeance
Just re-read this. You would think that 90 would have that little boat FLYING! That 4 blade must really bite for a good hole shot, and hamper the top end. Yeah, I am missing a few mph on the top end, but its worth it out of the hole. After I wear a little cup off I expect to see a few more mph's.

Black & Purple seem to work on everything from tarpon to largemouths. My favorite bass worm was always a tequila sunrise culprit.

Re: Deal?
That Midarbor Battenkill is a tough reel, not sure about on a 12 Wt. I have the mid arbor V on a 7 wt. and it works great. You might really want to upsize to a 4.5" Diameter reel with a good drag for that TICR 12 wt. That is a good buy on that rod, I have a few in 12 wt. and love them. I broke ...

The Orvis Mid Arbor is a great value, had one for a while and they are tough. Also for a good value is the TFO large arbor 425. I like the bigger arbor of the TFO.
