Earl, this weather has kept me on the hill since just after New Year's, hopefully it'll warm up soon then I'll be back aggravating the trout. I hope you can get on the water soon; it'll do you good!

Just poking fun at how some folks around here pronounce it.

Re: directions to Econfina
Thanks. I made a run to St. Marks a few years ago to fish with PA and I thought I'd never get through Tallahassee. And Sea Dawg, don't you mean Elbee!

Re: SJB 1/22 & 1/23
And SilverKing don't get me started on Booger King. :) Some of you might have children that work there, and I'm sorry, but we were taking a hard look at the folks working behind the counter not long ago, and they were pretty rough, and no plastic gloves when they were handling the food. I wrote corp...

Re: Which jack plate-
I have had the CMC for the last year or so and I am satisfied with it. I like not having to mount the pump in an area that I use for storage.

Re: directions to Econfina
While we're on the subject of directions, what is the fastest way for me to get from Dothan, AL to St. Marks Lighthouse Landing. I'm also wanting to avoid as much of Tallahassee as possible.

Re: SJB 1/22 & 1/23
Their launch fee schedule sucks. Last time I was there I had backed down and was ready to go when my fishing partner reported the $10.00 fee. They can forget about me launching there ever again. It just makes more sense to launch across from the Booger King for nothing. It makes for a little longer ...

I like that area. Is Presnell's still charging $10.00 to launch?

Saw the show and had some of the clams at the Gibson in Apalachicola last night. They were a little small but tasty.

Nice catch! I was a reluctant convert to the Gulp, now I won't leave home without them. They are in my top 3 starting lineup now. DOA,DOA, and Gulp.

Re: Went underground today.....
Good shots. I used to help sponsor a cave exploring club at our jr. college. There were several caves we'd explore north of Marianna, (not public) and one right near the campus of Chipola Jr. College. We also made several trips over to Climax Cave, between Bainbridge, Ga, and Climax, GA., (one of th...

Sheet, Juan that'd be a neat little toy for your pond. Put some rodholders for catfish on it and you'd be good to go.

Re: PUBLIC LANDINGS IN THE CARABELLE, SOPCHOPPY, PANACEA AREA?
Nice talking with you today Joe. Some friends invited us down to Apalachicola for a couple of days and even though we knew there was storm on the way we had hopes that it wouldn't be severe, and if we couldn't fish maybe we could scout out some fishing territory over Carabelle way. On our way to Car...

I reckon I'll fish the river delta, or sit on the porch and drink beer.
