Tropical storm Claudette ran us off a couple of weeks ago and we couldn't go so the wife and I were wondering is it worth going this next week? It closes mid week next week. Mustang1

Fished last Friday in 200' of water (three of us) 6 red grouper to 18lbs and 6 red snapper to 11lbs. All on cut bait. Then trolled the fenced in area, Mad.Swan. and picked up one wahoo 52lbs. Water was blue and seas 2 to 3 feet. Mustang1

Great report. I feel your pain regarding lack of blue water and or weed lines. Have burnt many a gallon of gas to find some(roffers too) with no luck. Maybe later this season.

I fished the Angela two weeks ago and it was covered in snapper. Caught 6 red grouper, 6 gags and a million snappers this past weekend. Groupers all on hard bottom. The area suggested by macdaddy is a great one, many many hard bottom sites just watch the bottom mach. and your gps so you don't stray ...
