Re: St MARK’S Friday 6/17

We went all the way to in front of Aucilla Friday fishing 4-6 feet and never found clearer water.

Re: Monster at S tower

Dolphin grabbing your fish maybe? Last year, they came swimming by the boat on top of the water with the snapper in their mouth while snapper was still hooked-just showing it to me!

St MARK’S Friday 6/17

Made it down Friday morning at 9:00. Started out on the west flats and caught several shorts but no keepers. Moved to east flats and continued with shorts. Kept moving east until we finally found some keepers. Ended up with 7 keepers which we caught on three drifts in the same place within less than...

Re: Memorial Day Trip - Making Ontiltttttt's Dreams Come Tru

Great report. We were down on Saturday before Labor Day and saw two birds that I was sure were frigate birds. Also thought it odd to see them and definitely not common in my inshore experience.

St Mark’s 5/23

Headed down for a day trip. Ended up with four keeper trout and threw back several shorts. 3 trout between 15 and 16 inches and one 19 inches. Fished both east and west flats from about 9:15 to 2:45. Boat and fish cleaning still left. Always a good day when you are on the water. Sent from my iPhone ...

Jeff B, thank you for the info on the shoals. Where are running to there from?

Re: St Marks Day Trip

Silver king, you are right about that. Wasn’t bad when we launched about 10 am but when we got back about 3:00, it was packed. Honestly not sure where all of the boats were. I think I saw way more empty boat trailers than I saw boats.

St Marks Day Trip

Put the boat in the water for the first time in two years yesterday. Boat ran good and cooperated better than the fish did. Had a few short trout and could have sunk the boat putting pin fish in it. Did get checked by State guys. Very friendly and got a sticker for being in compliance. Welcome them ...

One more question - can a Georgia resident launch at the Fort?
