I have a 2004 25" mercury 150. Blew my head not too long ago. Everything else is clean.

Re: JEW FISH TRIP CIRCA 1960

Awesome pictures. I bet the stories are even better. This made me think of Helldiver's rodeo and the stories of spearing huge fish while wearing football pads and being drug around through the rig.

Re: Tallahassee Outboard Service

I've taken my boat to Bass Pro but not for any motor issues. They swapped out my bilge and live well pumps and other minor things I didn't want to mess around with. They were efficient and I'm happy with what they did. I'll be bringing it back in to them for my yearly maintenance. They have a certif...

Re: Trouble with my Lowrance LCX-28c-HD

I have the 26c hd and mine did the same thing or wouldn't pick up a signal. It would occasionally but always dropped it. I looked all over the place for answers too. I had to do a hard reset on it. I lost some things that I didn't have saved but it fixed the problem. I did read that one of the serie...

Re: Guest rod and reels... How cheep can I go?

I also like the Plueger's a lot for just that. I can have a few cheaper rods on the boat for other people to use and I'll end up using them with each one tied with a different lure or set up for live bait. I think West Marine has them now for $60 for a combo and they'll last a long time and stay smo...

Re: Scallop report

Checked a few places close to grey mare last weekend and only found a few. I looked in 4 ft, 7 ft, and around 10 ft when I was checking put a rock pile. It's not looking too good there.

Re: Get it while its good....

Great report. I haven't dove in a couple years but finally got a boat where I can run offshore again. We've done okay fishing but these reports are making me want to get back in the water more and more!

Re: 2013 gag grouper regs

I would be surprised if more and more people start getting ticketed for not knowing all the rules. It's crazy how much they change. I think they just extended the Federal snapper season to 28 days now. Unfortunately when those gags are open in Federal water, the snapper will be closed then in Federa...

Re: 3/30/13 carrabelle

Glad to hear a grouper report! This weather has been a pain to try and fish in the past few weekends.

Nice job on the grouper!

Re: Thursday AM in the Yak on Jackson!

It's a great lake whether you're just running the boat trails, fishing, or hunting. I'll be out there for early Teal and have been checking it randomly. Are they hitting a certain topwater or pretty much anything you're throwing?

Re: Live Bait out of St Marks?????

can you use a regular sibiki or do you have to tip them? I normally get all my bait just along the shore at st. marks. A few casts and I have finger mullet, pinfish, and croakers
