Fish Camp is Ready
Spent the weekend pressure washing the exterior and the screen porches at the camp. Cleaned out the refrigerator and pantry of all of the out of date food. Put up new mini blinds. Picked up all of the downed limbs and branches. Mowed. Cleaned and prepped the fish cleaning table. Pressure washed the ...

Lost Dry-box
Took the boat down to St Marks today and when I got home, noticed the dry-box was gone. Hopefully, someone on the forum found it. You can keep the dry-box, if you will return the iPilot remote and manuals that were inside. Never used the trolling motor while out so I don't know if it blew out of the...

They left when Red Snapper season closed. They'll be back next year on June 1st if there is a Snapper season in 2013. You know they are endangered.

Sweet... and you probably used about $70.00 worth of fuel in that boat.

Re: 6-21-2012 State Water Fishing
Scoop: I bought Lenco 9"x12" standard trim tabs and a tactile switch for my 20ft bay boat from Hodges Marine Electronics online for just over $500 and put them on myself. Like Steve said, best thing I've done to the boat. Oh yeah, nice fish, too!

Re: Stradic 4000FJ
I have two 3000's and a 5000. They are great reels. The 5000 is a little heavy to continuously cast topwater or jigs. I use it mostly when throwing something under a popping cork. The 3000's have the muscle to handle any redfish or trout you're gonna hook and are light enough that you can throw them...

Re: Attention Fellow Marines
I have read the Q&A on the official USMC website - http://www.marines.mil/unit/divpa/tmlo/Pages/faq.aspx I am not a lawyer, but this appears to be aimed at persons and enterprises wanting to use the Marine Corps emblem for commercial purposes, not an individual using it for private purposes. Thi...

Red Snapper June 1
Tuesday night, I told the wife I would be getting up at the butt crack of dawn on Wednesday to throw a topwater plug. She asked why don't we go look for some red snapper instead. So I quickly put the Stradic away and started getting the 4/0 Penns out. Wasn't gonna be an early start cause she don't g...
