I have to babysit all weekend!!!!!!!!!!! Sue has a scrapbook get together Saturday, and Sunday. I'm stuck at the house. I really can't complain since she only does it every other month. How about next weekend? Or you can come to the house, and watch the boy. I promise to give you a full report, and ...

After talking to a few folks today, it seems it was a hit or miss kind of day. A fellow told me he and his partner caught 50 or so trout out of Ecofina, while others say they did terrible. Same went for Keaton, one guy told me they had to beat the trout off the boat, and another said he could not fi...

Ecofina 3/13

Went out right after low tide. Produced three keeper trout, but had to throw everything in the tackle box to get them. There was no consistency to them. One of the guys on the boat had never caught a trout, so my main goal was to get him his first one. After he broke one rod (luckily it wasn't mine)...

Tom, On/OFf is some good stuff!!!!!!!! :D I was scrubbing my boat with it on Saturday when my Mother in law pulled in the driveway. She got out and said it was blinding her. I had not noticed with my sunglasses on, so I removed them and man was it white!! Thanks for the tip, I'll be sure and keep a ...

dowawoo,
Thanks for the info. I'll stop using Sno-bowl. Don't want to harm anything. I just figured acid would ruin the fiberglass, but I guess if you dillute it enough it won't hurt it.

You try acid on your boat first, and let me know the results. I'd be to scared to try it.

Thanks Tom. Sno-Bowl works really well. You can find it just about any grocery store, but it does'nt get the tough stuff unless you scrub really hard. I'll definately try On/Off.

boat cleaning

Anybody got a surefire product they use to clean their boat? I have used a variety of cleaners from toilet bowl cleaner to all different kinds of soaps. However nothing seems to beat good old elbow grease when it comes to fiberglass. There has to be a good product you can use that doesn't require so...

Shell Pt.

I redfish and trout fish out of Aucilla, and Ecofina alot, but am thinking of trying some place new. I've got a 17' tunnel hull, and thought I would take it to Shell Pt. I've put in there to go offshore in the past, but never tried to redfish there. Anybody got any suggestions?

There is a C.B. sale/repair shop in Lloyd. It is right behind the Joyners and the Truck Stop. You ought to try there.

The minute I read that first reply, I knew that fisherman was from Wacissa. Didn't know who Fish Masterson was until the second reply. He is easy to spot though guys. He's usually tailing me on the flats, constantly on the binnoculars watching me, and trying to figure out why I'm always reeling them...

Redfishing

Anybody been doing any good around Aucilla and Ecofina for redfishing? Went last weekend and caught three 20 inchers. Seems like there is WAY too much freshwater, and with all this rain, it might stay like that a while!
