Re: St. Marks and Econfina water clarity
I fished with some friends yesterday from Deep Creek to Cobb Rocks, we found the water pretty clear with 4-6 foot visibility and some tannin stain.
The tannin was evident but was not dark.

Re: Inshore live bait reel?
I second the Shimano Baitrunner. The "OC" model is adequate for what you listed, but the "D" model is more durable. https://fish.shimano.com/content/fish/northamerica/us/en/homepage/Shimano_Product_Page.P-BAITRUNNER_D.html The Penn Spinfisher Live Liner is another option, https:/...

Re: NFGFC 2023
I too am glad that the club has decided to go with the "CPR" format for trout over 19"
What is the location of the 1st tournament? Also, does the club have a "check-it stik" for sale?

Re: New business hours for Reel Repair by Jim
Thanks for the input folks. The reason I am asking for input is I want to make it as convenient as possible for my customers. I know I won't make everyone happy and most people will adjust accordingly, just trying to cater to the majority.
Rocky, thanks for the kind words.

Re: Johnson Splinter Spoons
I did a Google search for Johnson Spoons and found this: https://www.fishusa.com/johnson-splinter-spoons/
It looks like the "Kastmaster" spoon that I remember from days gone by. They are quite productive for Spanish.

Re: Late Post St. marks
With the severe negative tides and stiff winds this past weekend, it would have been difficult to get where I wanted to fish without scraping something on the bottom. Had I fished in "deeper" water, it would have been uncomfortable. I had a couple of projects around the house that needed t...
