WTB: Browning Buck Mark 5.5 Field pistol

I would like to buy (or trade for) a Browning Buck Mark 5.5 Field. Please give me a shout if you have one at kielbrian@hotmail.com

I’d be interested in a Buck Mark Hunter as well.

Military Gold Sportsman’s License: $20 instead of $83.50

I really like this license. The Gold Sportsman license used to cost me $83.50 annually. I’m looking forward to only having to pay 20 wackers. If you haven’t heard by now: http://myfwc.com/whatsnew/05/statewide/militarygoldrefunds.html July 21, 2005 CONTACT: Henry Cabbage (850) 488-8843 The new ...

Steinhatchee Offshore. Saturday, 10-01 05

It’s been a LONG time since I’ve been out grouper fishing. Bernie Fowler & I arrived at Sea Hag at 6 a.m. and loaded the Bare Necessities with gear. We were entered in the GOFC Fall Tournament and our plan was to catch a few grouper and then target kingfish. http://216.77.188.54/coDataImages...

Shrimp Report: Palatka, Saturday 9-17 05

Thinking we’d cast net up a few shrimp, & I left for Palatka after a Saturday morning Tiger Cub meeting. We launched at Crystal Cove Marina around 11:30 a.m. and hit the Power Line area. It was sunny and warm with not much cloud cover. Throwing a 10 foot net we moved around and threw a fair am...

Alligator fishing 2005 & gator hunt with the kids w/pics

For the second time in as many years we drew an alligator tag for first phase Orange Lake just south of Gainesville, Florida (Sept 1-7). Besides my hunting partner EricT, on board was my neighbor Eric, and another friend, Jim, both of which had never gator hunted. Since EricT and myself don’t feel...

Scallop Report. Steinhatchee 9-10 05

The scallops were there, you just had to hunt them up. They did not seem as abundant as a few weeks past so rather than grapping a handful in one breath we had to find them individually (not complaining). Getting two or three at a time was not uncommon. We were surprised at how cool the water was in...

Key West lobster report & family trip summary w/pics. 8/

Just like last year we drove down to Key West for a week of lobstering and hanging out during the opening week of the 2005 Lobster Season (8/06-8/14). We left Gainesville early Saturday morning at 4 a.m., to maximize the enjoyment (mine) of a couple hours of quiet as our two young kids slept. In Key...

Key Largo Mini Season & family vacation summary w/12 pic

Here’s a brief summary of our week we spent in Key Largo in the Florida Keys for our annual Family/Lobster Get Together (July 24-31). By design, this trip coincides with the two day Florida Mini Lobster Season; a special two day season always held a few days before the commercial lobstermen deploy...

Cedar Key offshore. Tuesday, 5-10 05 (grouper)

With no goal other than to just get out, Sanford Boye, Jay Peacock, and I left the Cedar Key dock at sunrise and headed out to 26 feet to catch bait. On the way out we threw jigs for cobia on markers # 3 & 1 but no takers (#1 is no longer a steel pole, it’s now a green can). With around forty ...

I bet that was fun. Brian is a very good guy.

I’m not looking to know where his traps are but at what depth did Brian have them set at? We caught some exceptional pigfish and spottail pinfish in 24 feet out of Steinhatchee the day after you went (hand sized bait).
