Plan B: Cedar Key sheepies n’ trout. 4/2/15

However, with the kids off of school for Good Friday we had an opportunity to hit Cedar Key for some fishing. So afte...

Re: Pigge & Oyster Roast/Palm Valley Boat Parade 2014
FutchCairo, I’ve enjoyed your recollections! great reply. I believe I know of the kill plant you speak of. The one I’m referring to is a lone building just west of where the drawbridge was. Run by the Hitchcock family who we have become friends with. One of our good friends Debbie Hitchcock was a bu...

Still haven't started yet (at Guana WMA) as I'm hoping the numbers of hunters will decrease come mid Dec (sad).

Re: Duck Season eve...
I went to the madness known as Guana WMA last year for the first time in over 25 years. There were a couple hundred ruddy ducks. Saw some bigger ducks and moved and killed our combined 4 blue bill allotment and one teal. For sure MudDucker! I understand. Late in the season at Guana there are tons o...

Re: Duck Season eve...
bman, it's a bit too competitive for me in Ponte Vedra (and my duk loving children) to venture out. Over here by Guana WMA it's crazy to be one of the 100 hunters they let in (by 4 am this Sat they maxed out in hunters they let in). The season has got to go a bit before the craziness wears off and t...

Awesome Youth Deer Hunt: 11/7-9 (Youth Hunting Program of FL
I wanted to pass on a youth hunt summary that youth hunters from 12 – 17 years of age that have a Hunter Safety certification can take part in. If you have a son or daughter that fits these criteria I HIGHLY recommend you get them involved with one of the youth hunts! It was a great weekend! Here is...
