Re: Great Return On An Investment
Interesting viewpoint. I had not ever considered a fishing tournament as an investment. I wonder if my wife would buy that? She is always after me to quit wasting money on boats and fishing and concentrate on contributing to our investments. First place on the Redfish is over $2,000 now, that...

If it's weighted in on Saturday, it will also win the Saturday Big Redfish Prize of an extra $500. All entry fees are returned and the Redfish entry fee is only $150 per BOAT ...

Re: Rockin' Reds Tournament 6/25 - 6/26
If you get the chance, check out the Gage Pitman Memorial Rockin' Reds Tournament in Panacea later this month. 100% payout of entry fees, five places will be paid out, and there will be plenty of Calcuttas, including a Trout Bag. $30,000 was paid out last year. If you don't like to fish, there will...

Upcoming Rockin' Reds Tourney
The registration for the upcoming Rockin' Reds has now opened up. ALL entry fees go back to the anglers, $30,000 was paid out last year, and this year we have added a Trout Jackpot and increased the payouts to five places instead of three. It's a good time for a great cause, check out our Facebook p...

Shotgun Shells: Dove Loads
Does anyone have a lead on getting some 12 ga. shells for the upcoming dove season? Finding any in the area is pretty challenging. Any tips are appreciated.

Family Coastal for the seafood option and The Red Pirate for the low-budget burger/family option. Both restaurants are on the north side of the bridge, i.e. Eastpoint. If in Apalach, stop by Oyster City and Up To No Good Tavern (they have a great pizza too). It's hard to go wrong with anything in th...

Re: Rockin Reds Fish Tournament!
Red beard alot of teams didnt go to weigh in because a bunch of em were catching alot of 5 to 6 pound reds knowing that's not gonna win for big red. The weight that won was six pounds and some change. So I don’t know why someone catching 5-6 range wouldn’t weigh in. And there was a two day aggregat...

Rockin' Reds Tournament Day 1 In The Books
With 89 boats registered, there will be some great payouts as this tournament returns all of the entry fees back to the winners. Day 1 saw team Red Hounds haul in $500 for having the largest Redfish weighed in (7.71 lbs) and team Shotgun Sunday also collected $500 for weighing in the largest Snapper...

Re: Scalloping 4th of July weekend
We hit St. Marks today, I suspect there were no less than 100-125 boats around. We had 6 folks in the water and it took quite a few stops and several hours to get a boat-limit. That being said, it was a great day on the water with family and friends nonetheless.

Re: Wakulla County Tripling Launch Fees To Non-Residents
There weren't even any pay envelopes at Rock Landing. I wrapped a $5 bill in a note with my tag number, because i appreciate that they aren't being fishing nazis. Yeah, staff has been limited due to COVID-19. Thanks for being honest and putting the money in the till. If you are gonna fish the Wakul...
