Only worry is low tide leaving me stranded out a hundred yards or more and having get out and plow through the muck back to the launch site.

99% of my fishing is freshwater. Looking to change that.
At low tide how shallow is Wakulla Beach? Is the bottom in this area generally sandy or does it get mucky after you leave the beach area?
I'll be fishing from a kayak.

I live in Valdosta. You'll find nothing more than some poppers around here.
